That was quite the process!
Preserve Arizona now has its corporation charter from the Arizona Corporation Commission, an EIN number, and tax exempt status from the IRS.
Whew! That was a lot of time and paperwork. Who knew?
Next up is establishing a bank account and setting this up so we can begin taking donations, here, and on various crowd funding sites.

There have been a few changes to our board.
Our treasurer, Jessie Ownbey, has moved on, and has been replaced by Madeline Miciotto. We wish Ms. Ownbey much success in her future endeavors.
We have also lost our Statutory Agent, Michael O'Dell. Most unexpectedly, Michael died. We will miss him dearly. Not only is his loss keenly felt by the group, but it is also Holbrook's loss as well. Michael loved his town, and was involved in many ways in the community. His enthusiasm and his dedication to making Holbrook a place people would want to visit never wavered. When approached to be the agent for the foundation, he stepped up immediately. Michael had a vision of what the town of Holbrook could be, and actively pursued it.
Unfortunately, he did not know we had become official before death took him.
Rest in peace, my friend.
